National Mentoring Month is a campaign run throughout January by MENTOR and MENTOR Affiliates across the country. Launched in 2002, the campaign aims to unify and expand the mentoring movement, celebrate the power of relationships, and raise awareness around the importance of youth mentoring in the United States. During this month, we come together as a community to ignite passions, turn dreams into reality, and advocate for mentorship. By harnessing our collective voice, we recognize how one conversation, one experience, and one mentor can profoundly impact a young person’s life.

As we celebrate this month, let’s imagine a world where young people feel empowered, encouraged, and understood. Mentors play a vital role in making that world a reality by helping young individuals find their passions, excel in school, and thrive wherever they are.
