How will my donation help serve our community?
Each and every donation received will be applied to help to the following:
Provide shelter for youth aged out of the foster care system.
Assist with providing and teaching programs such as Resume Building, Microsoft Suite programs, job applications, etc.
Providing mentors with essential trainings to better serve the youth.
Providing mentors with essential tools to assist with interaction with their clients.
Providing families of our youth with essential items such as clothing, hygienic items, short term shelter, etc.
Running effective life skills classes and group mentoring sessions
Christmas toy drives for families in need
Community Fundraising Events
Scholarships for activities such as soccer, basketball, football, dance, boxing, baseball, karate, drivers’ education courses, etc.
Back to school drives for the community.
Assisting with obtaining drivers licenses, GED’s, college applications and fees
Annual College Scholarships

How are mentors matched with their mentees?

What if I do not feel as though I was matched appropriately with my mentor or mentee?

Will I receive compensation as a mentor?
In short, no. Mentors are not compensated financially for their community services. But we do respect and honor each and every one of our volunteers and there are periods throughout the year where we will show our appreciation to them.
